I would like to thank everyone that nominated me for this High honor. Attending Frankfort wasn’t just going to school, it was like showing up at a place where you knew everyone was family.

Life in High school:
Named Captain of the football team for my hard work dedication and commitment as a natural-born leader to my team and the people around me. Member of the All-USAREUR Football Champion team of 84’. Enjoyed playing both sides of the ball giving it my heart and soul on the Defensive and Offensive lines.

Life and Career after High school:
I received numerous scholarship opportunities to play at several top colleges including Penn State, Baylor, the University of Illinois, the University of Maryland, and many others. I decided it was in my interest to move up to the Midwest to play with my brother at Augustana to fulfill my dream of playing on the same field as my brother. In Illinois, I played semi-pro before making the final decision to step away from my love for football. I decided to move to Laurel, Mississippi to pursue a career in Law enforcement. While in Laurel I had the pleasure of mentoring the youth, coaching peewee, football, basketball, and Baseball. I take pride in passing my knowledge on to future generations. I later retired from the force and joined the private sector.

Family:
Later, down the road, I would come to rekindle my relationship with my high school sweetheart, Kristina M Dilly, 15 years later. We would go on to get married and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Honorable mentions:
I want to give a huge thanks to Coach Al Harris of the Youth activates Wolverines football team (DYA), the man that brought great influence onto me to become the respectable man I am, in the form of football. As well as Lynn Haight for showing me the brutally honest form of tough love. My family for being my number one supporter through thick and thin, and holding me to the highest standard. Along with my mom and dad for never letting me take the easy way out. Lastly, my teammates for always looking out for each other and sticking together still to this day. We may not talk every day, but we will forever have each other’s back.
